Meetings:

• For 2024-2025, Club Meetings will be held In-Person & ZOOM.
Meetings are held twice monthly from Sept to April.

• Workshops are all held by ZOOM on the announced dates.

• Outings will be held according to Ontario health guidance.

Speakers:

• We invite highly regarded experts in photography to speak at club meetings.

• Topics may include nature, documentary, travel, sports, architecture, creativity, and so on ... providing ideas & inspiration.

Workshops:

• Subjects and levels of expertise depending on the needs of our members.

• Led by an advanced club photographer.

• Held most often on Thursday evenings alternate to club meeting dates.

• All workshops are held by ZOOM on the announced dates.

• Club members register via DMCC's private MeetUp group.

• Attendance may be limited.

Outings:

• Outings will be held according to Ontario health guidance.

• Members share hands-on learning experiences at interesting locations.

• Club members register via DMCC's private MeetUp group.

• Attendance may be limited.

Regular Competitions:

• There are 4 Regular Digital Competitions during the club season, plus one Print Competition.

• Divisions and categories include Nature, Pictorial, Assigned Topic, and Prints.
Prints do not have an assigned topic and can be submitted in colour or Monochrome.

• Competition classes (levels) are Novice, Advanced, and Specialist.

• Images are evaluated by accredited Ontario Council of Camera Clubs judges.

• Results are presented at club meetings with scores, comments & awards.

• Division Champion awards for these 4 Divisions: Nature, Pictorial, Assigned Topic, and Prints.

Other Competitions:

• Theme Night: Images of specific subjects are entered in the competition.

• Photo Essays: Thematic presentations with music and/or commentary.

• O.C.C.C.: there are competitions with other member clubs of the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C).

Annual Celebration and Awards Night:

• If held in the spring, this will be an entertaining, social, evening and presentations to celebrate and conclude an enjoyable club season.

• Details of an Annual Celebration will be announced in the spring.

• Awarded prints and digital images are featured.

• There are often entertaining photographic presentations.

• The results of the year-end competitions are presented, and our Division Champion photographers are recognized.

• Members advancing in the competition class are presented with certificates.
